The ANSI character set includes many foreign characters, special punctuation, and business symbols. In Windows environments, you can enter ANSI characters by holding down the Alt key and typing the ANSI code with the numeric keypad. On Macintoshes, you can enter ANSI characters by holding down the Option key and typing a character.   ANSI Character Set Describes the compatibility of the ANSI character sets with Windows platforms and DOS. ANSI Characters 128-255 Shows characters 128-255 of the ANSI character set . ISO Latin-1 Characters Defines ISO Latin-1 characters for European characters in HTML pages.
